AttuneExpeditions
Attune is built for people who organize their lives around performance. Expeditions takes that philosophy outside.
Moving through mountains on foot has long been a way of creating distance, perspective, and a different relationship to effort. It is older than the couch, older than the gym, older than nearly everything we now do instead. Alpine hut routes, high mountain traverses, remote ridgelines, and rugged coastal trails are not reserved for elite athletes or experienced mountaineers. What keeps most people from going is not capacity, but uncertainty: choosing the right route, understanding the terrain, planning the stages, booking huts, carrying the right equipment, and knowing how to respond when conditions change.
Whether you want to walk hut to hut, fastpack, or move quickly over several days, the route should match your experience, goals, and tolerance for risk.
Attune Expeditions provides carefully designed itineraries, preparation, and route guidance for ambitious journeys on foot. Every route is developed by people with direct experience of the terrain—people who have hiked, run, and navigated these places themselves.
Routes
First routes: the UK coastal paths, the Swiss and Italian Alps, Corsica’s GR20, and Newfoundland.
Three ways to get out there.
Route Design
A bespoke itinerary, built for you. Route selection matched honestly to your fitness, your ambition, and your pace — walking, fastpacking, or running — with stage-by-stage planning, hut reservations strategy, timing, gear, and what to do when things don’t go to plan. Whether it’s your first hut-to-hut or your fifth big route, you get a plan you can trust from someone who’s been there.
Route Design + Readiness
The route, plus getting you ready to meet it. A structured preparation block leading up to departure — training guidance, a realistic build, and check-ins along the way — so you arrive at the trailhead fit, confident, and ready to enjoy it rather than survive it.
The Guided Expedition
We take a small group on one of the old routes, with everything handled: the plan, the pace, the huts, the details. You bring your legs and your appetite for it. Led personally by Dr. Harounzadeh, jointly with experienced local mountain leaders and coaches.
Why we do this
People often return from a long route recalibrated. Days of sustained effort, changing terrain, and attention narrowed to the next section of trail can create distance from what felt urgent and clarify what matters.
That idea runs through Attune’s work: effort, the body, and identity are deeply connected. Some people explore that connection through conversation. Others encounter it outdoors, several hours into a route.
You do not need to be searching for anything profound. Most people simply want a well-designed journey and guidance from someone who knows the terrain. The rest has a way of finding you.
