However you enter, the work follows the same logic.

Ongoing

Ongoing work

Each path is an ongoing monthly arrangement: sessions at an agreed frequency, secure messaging, and coordination between them.

Within Clinical Care

Walk-and-Talk Sessions

Some sessions are better on foot. For established patients, Attune offers walk-and-talk sessions: psychotherapy conducted outdoors, walking side by side on wooded trails rather than sitting face to face. The work is the same; the frame is different. Movement and open air change what surfaces and how it moves, and a growing body of research supports what many people discover quickly: some things are easier to say on a trail than on a couch.

Walk-and-talk is offered when clinically appropriate, weather permitting, with practical considerations — including privacy in public spaces — discussed together in advance.

Practicalities

Attune is a private-pay practice; fees are discussed during a brief consultation, and superbills are provided for out-of-network reimbursement.

Clinical services are currently available in New York; performance coaching is available anywhere. More states are coming, so if yours isn’t listed, it’s worth asking.

Group Coaching

Small, non-clinical cohorts built around the same performance frame used across the practice: the stories you tell about yourself under pressure, the parts of you that compete, and the patterns that follow you across training, work, and life. Structured sessions with a defined arc — for athletes and high performers who want serious group work without a clinical relationship. Virtual and in-person cohorts planned.

Group Therapy

Small, clinician-led groups, screened and matched deliberately. Two kinds:

  • Skills groups – structured, evidence-based work that builds specific tools for managing stress, emotion, and pressure, alongside others working on the same thing.
  • Theme groups – focused groups organized around a shared experience: injury and return, life after sport, and others.

A note on supplements

The supplement industry is largely unregulated, and quality varies more than most people realize. When supplements are part of a plan, Attune recommends Thorne for its rigor and transparency. A practitioner storefront is coming soon; in the meantime, ask us for specific recommendations.
